“Street Fighter” – Limited Edition Signed Diorama – Nigel Mansell CBE – Lotus Renault 95t, Monaco 1984
£395.00
A strictly Limited Edition of only 6x hand-built Dioramas, each individually signed by 1992 Formula One World Champion and 1993 PPG IndyCar World Series Champion, Nigel Mansell CBE, in support of UK Youth.
Built on a solid oak base, this hand-built diorama depicts Nigel Mansell, driving the iconic Lotus Renault 95t sweeping around the Monaco circuit in Monte Carlo as he battled his way into the lead of the 1984 Monaco Grand Prix. Each diorama was hand-signed by Nigel Mansell CBE, at the Williams F1 Conference Centre, Grove, England on 22nd May 2024.
Having battled through the lower ranks of motor racing, Mansell’s potential was spotted by Colin Chapman, co-founder and designer of the legendary Team Lotus. Chapman appreciated Mansell’s skill and fighting spirit, and Mansell spent four years as a Team Lotus driver between 1981 & 1984. Whilst a first win eluded him, his time at the team was littered with impressive fighting drives which brought him numerous podium finishes. This diorama captures Mansell wringing the neck of the Lotus through the rain in Monte Carlo in more accuracy and detail than has ever been achieved before.
10% of the proceeds from the sale of each diorama will be donated to UK Youth, a charity of which Nigel Mansell is President. UK Youth is a leading charity with a vision that all young people are equipped to thrive and empowered to contribute at every stage of their lives. With an open network of more than 8,000 youth organisations and nation partners; UK Youth reaches more than four million young people across the UK and is focused on unlocking youth work as the catalyst of change that is needed now more than ever. The diorama comes packed in a custom-made protective box, and is packaged in high-quality foam in order to ensure that the model is not damaged whilst in transit. Also included is a unique Bad Wolf Miniatures certificate of authenticity, hand-signed to confirm that each model is one of a strictly limited edition of only 6x unique pieces.
